We are learning the benefits of sharing information online, but also about the safety and security risks of sharing certain types of information.

 • understanding what type of information can put you at risk for identity theft and other scams.

 • distinguishing between personal information, which is safe to share online, and private information, which is unsafe to share.

Today we will practice thinking critically about the difference between personal and private information in an online environment.
