Grade 5- Linwood Supply List

Grade 2- Survey and Tally Marks, Dr. Seuss Characters

We are learning to conduct a survey using tally marks.

Today we will review surveys and tally marks using BrainPop Jr.'s Tally Charts and Bar Graphs video.

Then you will survey your classmates about favorite Dr. Seuss Characters. Keep track of your work using tally marks.

As a class, we will compile our survey data.



Next, decide on your favorite character from the list.

Mark your tally.


Then, gather survey data from your table. Collect your data using tally marks.

Grade 1- St. Patrick's Day, Projects By Jen

We are learning to find totals for our tally data.

We are participating in Projects by Jen St. Patrick's Day Project.

Last week your table, sorted the Lucky Charms marshmallows. Today we need to find the total number of marshmallows by type for the entire class. 

Let's check the total for all participating classes and find out if the hypothesis is correct. Will there be more green clovers than the other shapes?

Grade 1- St. Patrick's Day Project

We are learning to sort and tally data.

We will participate in Projects by Jen St. Patrick's Day Project.

With your table, sort the Lucky Charms marshmallows. Record your data using tally marks on the record keeping sheet. Use your manners and cooperate with your team. Remember to include everyone.

If your team finishes before class is over, please clean up and wash your hands. If time allows, you may play A to Zap.

Grade 5- Finish and Print AutoMath

Today we will finish our AutoMath Excel spreadsheet.

Open your AutoMath file from your Z:\ drive. (Start > My Computer > Z:\ > AutoMath)

Finish the multiplication and division problems today.

Follow today's directions. Use * for multiplication and  /  for division.

Here is an example of a completed project.



Print:

1.  Show formulas CTRL and `

2.  File > Print Preview

3.  Press SETUP  button

4.  Page Orientation= LANDSCAPE

5. Press OK

6.  Press MARGINS to adjust column widths
